On July 12, 2024, in Ada, Oklahoma, 16-year-old Isaac Tobin Byrd was reported missing, prompting concern from his family and community. Isaac, a white male standing at 6 feet 2 inches with ear-length dirty blonde hair, was last seen leaving his home around 3 p.m. that Friday afternoon. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance were particularly worrying as he had taken a green 1999 Toyota Tacoma with Oklahoma license plate BRJ234.
