James Harlin Boyd Jr., aged 42, was last seen on August 19, 2002, in Richlands, Virginia. He lived in the T & C Mobile Home Park in Doran, Virginia, and worked as a general laborer. Boyd had a history of minor offenses, such as traffic violations and passing bad checks, but no serious criminal record. Authorities suspect his disappearance may be linked to involvement with drugs, which could have played a role in his case.
