David Person, a 35-year-old man from Roanoke, Virginia, was last seen on October 6, 1987. On that day, he was reportedly boarding a bus to attend an outpatient day program at a Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital. Despite his routine participation in the program, Person never made it to the hospital and has not been seen since. His disappearance raised immediate concerns, as there were no indications of him planning to leave or break contact with his family.
