Steven Carlos Mendez, a 1-year-old from West New York, New Jersey, was last seen on May 6, 2003. He was allegedly abducted by his non-custodial mother, Azucena Campos de Mendez. Authorities believe that Azucena took Steven to Mexico, possibly to the city of Puebla. A felony warrant was issued for her arrest on December 24, 2003, but despite this, neither Steven nor his mother have been located.
