Alejandra Rivera-Romero, an 8-year-old girl, was last seen on January 22, 2005, in Oxnard, California. On that day, she, along with her younger siblings, Monserrat and Wesley, were abducted by their non-custodial father, Alejandro Rivera Avina. A warrant was later issued for Alejandro on charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. It is believed that he took the children to Mexico, and their whereabouts have remained unknown since their disappearance.
