In June of 2006, a 19-year-old man named Orlando Jose Garcia Fernandez vanished while attempting to cross the border into the United States. Originally from an unspecified location, Orlando had made his way to Tijuana, Mexico, with the intention of entering Arizona. The last contact anyone had with him was a phone call he made from Tijuana, in which he stated his plans to cross the border.
