In the early autumn of 2006, a one-year-old boy named Samuel Clay Robinson was last seen in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 30th. At just two feet tall and weighing 25 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Samuel was a small child whose life was just beginning. A notable characteristic was a lazy right eye. His disappearance, however, was not a case of a child wandering off, but is believed to be a family abduction.
Authorities have stated that Samuel was allegedly taken by his non-custodial mother, Alma Rosa Robinson.
Following Samuel's disappearance, an investigation was launched, and on June 21, 2007, a felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for Alma Robinson. At the time she was 40 years old, described as a Hispanic female, standing at 5'1' and weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Law enforcement officials believe that Alma and Samuel might have remained in the Phoenix area, but they also consider the possibility that they may have traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, or even to Mexico. The case was reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation on December 20, 2006.
Over the years, efforts to locate Samuel have continued. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has released age-progressed photos to show what Samuel might look like as he grows older, with images created to depict him at ages five, eight, and eleven. Despite these efforts and the ongoing investigation by the Phoenix Police Department and the FBI, Samuel's whereabouts remain unknown.
