Norma Avila, a 41-year-old woman, went missing on June 3, 2008, from Doral, Florida. Avila, who worked as a live-in nanny, was last seen at her residence in the 5100 block of northwest 106th Avenue. The circumstances leading up to her disappearance involved an altercation with an unknown Caucasian male, after which she left the house. About a week later, on June 10, she briefly returned to retrieve some of her belongings but was never seen again after that.
