Liliana Moreno Ramirez, 42, was last seen on May 30, 2016, in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, along with her 8-year-old daughter, Daniela Moreno. The two were reported missing by Liliana’s sister the next day when she couldn’t reach them and learned that Daniela hadn’t attended school in nearly a week. When police searched their Doral apartment, they found no signs of struggle, but Liliana’s personal belongings, including her purse, passport, and credit cards, were left behind, raising
concerns about foul play.
The last person known to have seen Liliana and Daniela was Gustavo Alfonso Castaño, Daniela’s biological father. He claimed to have dropped them off near Okeechobee Road following an argument. However, investigators later found evidence linking him to suspicious activities, including his involvement in a warehouse burglary shortly after their disappearance. Despite these findings, no arrests have been made, and both Liliana and Daniela remain missing.
