Mehvish is described as being of Pakistani descent, and she holds citizenship in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. She speaks both English and Urdu. Both Fatima and her sister are of Pakistani descent and have pierced ears. When she went missing, Fatima had black, shoulder-length hair and black eyes.
