Deborah Renee Lewis, a 35-year-old woman from West Point, Georgia, was last heard from on June 18, 1999, when she spoke with her mother by phone. Deborah, who had been living in West Point, was reported missing by her mother over a year later, on September 19, 2000, after an extended period with no contact. When authorities investigated, individuals residing at her home reported that Deborah had left on foot one day and never returned, leaving behind her purse, clothes, and other belongings.
