A second account offers a slightly different timeline and details, stating that Elvis was abandoned unconscious in the Arizona desert close to Eloy on July 15th. It is believed he was carrying a false identification card with the name Edwin Roberto Rodríguez Rodriguez. This version of the story also places him in the 'Represa' area, described as a location northeast of some mines with pipes draining from local agriculture where migrants would go to drink muddy water. Those who left him mentioned seeing an old, burned-out truck about an hour and a half after they departed from where he was. At the time he went missing, he was wearing a distinctive belt with a skull buckle.
Elvis is described as a Hispanic male, standing between 5'1' and 5'3' and weighing approximately 145 to 150 pounds. He had black, straight hair cut very short and brown eyes, with a noticeable brown freckle in the white part of his left eye. A scar from a cut was present on his left hand, and he had a piercing in his left ear. A unique physical characteristic was that his pinky toe naturally rested on top of the adjacent toe. When he was last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a green long-sleeved t-shirt, and white tennis shoes. He was also carrying a camouflage backpack, a wallet, a black glass rosary, and a cell phone. The investigation into his disappearance is being handled by the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office, and the case remains a source of deep concern and unanswered questions for his loved ones.
