Maria Saguay, a 41-year-old woman, went missing on July 1, 2012, while attempting to cross the border near the Laredo area, Texas. She was traveling with a group when she reportedly became ill and was left behind by her companions. According to available reports, the group placed her sweater in a tree to help immigration authorities locate her. However, after that moment, no further information about her whereabouts surfaced.
