Francisco Hernandez Martinez, a 38-year-old man, went missing on April 24, 2013, from La Joya, Texas. He was last heard from before attempting to cross the Rio Grande River from Reynosa, Mexico, into Hidalgo County, Texas. Martinez was scheduled to cross the border with another family member, but both disappeared during the crossing.
