In the late spring of 2013, a then 25-year-old male, Christopher Jon Evans, vanished from southern Oregon, leaving his loved ones in a state of enduring uncertainty. He was last seen on May 29, 2013, in White City, Oregon. According to his family, he had also been in the nearby community of Eagle Point before he disappeared.
