Matt Thomas Amon, age 20, was last seen on August 11, 1971, in Pocatello, Idaho. Prior to his disappearance, Matt had been arrested for disorderly conduct in July 1971 and spent several weeks in Bannock County Jail. He disappeared shortly after his release, and no one has heard from him since. At the time of his disappearance, Matt was involved with a rough crowd and allegedly had connections to heroin use.
