Siegfried Woelki, a 31-year-old man from Hackettstown, New Jersey, was last seen on October 4, 1982. He was known to live with his girlfriend at the Towpath Apartments in Hackettstown and worked part-time as a butcher at the North Jersey Packing House in Long Valley. On the day of his disappearance, he visited a Krauszer’s Food Store around 5:30 p.m., where he spoke with a friend and mentioned that he had some business to attend to before returning to his apartment later that evening.
