Clarence James Plummer, a 65-year-old man from Sudlersville, Maryland, was last seen on the evening of July 29, 1984. Plummer, who suffered from dementia and was known to wander away from his home, disappeared around 8:00 p.m. near his residence. His guardian reported that although Clarence had wandered off in the past, he was always found nearby, making his extended absence concerning.
At the time of his disappearance, Plummer was wearing a short-sleeved red shirt, blue pants, Hush Puppies shoes, and eyeglasses. He also had several distinctive physical features, including a scar from a nephrectomy, a fractured skull, and no teeth, for which he wore an upper denture. It is believed that he may have been attempting to reach family members in Delaware, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
Despite extensive searches and investigations, including involvement from the Maryland State Police, Clarence Plummer has never been located, and his case remains unsolved.
