Genevieve "Nicole" Munoz, an 18-year-old from Biloxi, Mississippi, was last seen on June 11, 1994. She left her parents' home that morning with her three-month-old son, intending to pick up the child's father, Michael David Lamb, to go shopping at Edgewater Mall. When Nicole didn't return by nightfall, her parents grew concerned. They contacted Lamb, who told them that while the baby was at his home, Nicole had never come back.
The following day, Nicole's 1988 Plymouth Reliant was found abandoned at the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport. Surveillance footage showed no sign of her at the airport, and she was not spotted boarding any flights. At the time of her disappearance, Nicole was finishing her senior year at Biloxi High School and saving money so her parents could adopt her son for health insurance coverage.
In 2009, Michael Lamb confessed to Nicole's death, claiming they had a physical altercation, during which he accidentally shot her. He stated that he and his mother disposed of Nicole's body in a garbage bin. Lamb was convicted of manslaughter but served only four years before being released in 2013.
