On that day, she and her father, Herold Bock, set sail from a marina on a 64-foot schooner named *Connie B.* Their destination was Sitka, Alaska, and the journey was expected to take about 30 days. However, neither Jeannie nor her father reached their destination, and they have not been heard from since their departure.
