Lindsay Marie Wells, a 22-year-old woman who was nine months pregnant, disappeared on March 29, 1999, from her home in Simi Valley, California. She was last seen asleep at the residence she shared with her fiancé and his mother. Wells missed a scheduled welfare appointment that morning and a doctor's appointment the next day, prompting her fiancé to report her missing on March 31.
