Edward Louis Winans, a 40-year-old man, was last seen on August 6, 2000, at his home in Linden, California. He had been arguing with his wife throughout the day, and after a heated exchange, his wife and their young daughter left the house to give him some space. When his wife returned later that day, she found a note from Edward. In the note, he expressed frustration with their marriage, but reassured her of his love and mentioned that he was planning to go to Valley Springs later that evening. ...
