Edward Louis Winans, a 40-year-old man, was last seen on August 6, 2000, at his home in Linden, California. He had been arguing with his wife throughout the day, and after a heated exchange, his wife and their young daughter left the house to give him some space. When his wife returned later that day, she found a note from Edward.
