In the early hours of a November morning in 2002, a young man named Douglas Jared Foster vanished from the streets of Anchorage, Alaska. He had just celebrated a milestone, his 21st birthday, with friends. After the celebration on November 9, 2002, his friends dropped him off near the corner of 12th Avenue and C Street.
