In the late summer of 2007, the life of Theodore Watson Jr., a 46-year-old man from Charleston County, South Carolina, took a turn that left his family and community with unanswered questions. At the time, he was living with his girlfriend in Hollywood, South Carolina, having been estranged from his wife.
