Tremaine Michael Peek, an 18-year-old from Cocoa, Florida, was last seen on November 19, 2007, at his apartment on North Fiske Boulevard. On the day of his disappearance, Tremaine was on the phone with his girlfriend when she overheard him arguing with his roommates. Moments later, she heard what sounded like a gunshot. A neighbor also reported hearing a gunshot and witnessed two men dragging a rolled-up carpet out of the apartment, while a woman was seen wiping down the steps behind them.
Despite the alarming nature of the incident, Tremaine has not been seen or heard from since that day. One of his roommates later claimed they had taken Tremaine to a local medical center, but there was no record of his admission to any nearby hospital. Foul play is strongly suspected, and Tremaine's disappearance is now being investigated as a possible homicide. To date, his body has not been found, and his case remains unsolved(
