Andreas Marts, a 25-year-old from Leavenworth, Kansas, was last seen on July 16, 2010. Marts, who suffered from schizophrenia and Parry-Romberg Syndrome (a condition that causes facial tissue degeneration), had recently been released from the hospital. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being highly agitated and delusional, telling his family that he intended to "cleanse himself in the river for God."
