Benjamin McDaniel, a 30-year-old scuba diving enthusiast from Collierville, Tennessee, was last seen on August 18, 2010, diving at Vortex Spring in Ponce de Leon, Florida. Known for his adventurous spirit and passion for cave diving, Ben entered the cave system at Vortex Spring alone around 7:30 p.m., despite not being fully certified for such a dangerous dive.
