Sebastian Lucas Conklin, a 5-year-old boy, was last seen on December 3, 2011, in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Sebastian, along with his 3-year-old sister Briana, was abducted by their non-custodial mother, Marcela Conklin. A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for Marcela just two days later, on December 5, 2011. Authorities believe that Marcela took the children to Cochabamba, Bolivia, where they may still be living.
Sebastian is described as a biracial male (Hispanic and White), with brown hair, brown eyes, and a birthmark on his left calf. At the time of his disappearance, he was approximately 3'6" and weighed 40 pounds. His mother, Marcela, is also described as Hispanic, with brown hair and brown eyes, standing at 5'3" and weighing about 125 pounds.
The case is still open, and the Fairfax County Police Department in Virginia is overseeing the investigation, as they are also involved in the search for the children. Marcela’s abduction of the children is considered a family abduction, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact law enforcement.
