Richard Ervin Mize Sr., a 53-year-old man from Gastonia, North Carolina, was last seen on May 6, 2013. At the time of his disappearance, Mize was homeless and known to frequent local shelters such as the Salvation Army and Ministry One. He stood around 5'5" to 5'6" tall, weighed about 150 pounds, and had brown hair and blue eyes, with a gray beard and mustache at the time of his disappearance.
