In the early morning hours of June 19, 2013, Shaniece Mona Briggs, a 26-year-old mother of four, was last seen at her apartment in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. Around 1:00 a.m., she walked out the back door of her residence, leaving it unlocked. Inside, her four young children, all under the age of seven, were asleep. Shaniece left behind her keys and her purse but took her wallet and cell phone. The circumstances suggested she may have intended to return quickly. ...
