Mauricio Perez Perla, 34, was last seen on August 1, 2013, in McAllen, Texas. He disappeared under mysterious circumstances while attempting to cross the border with a group. According to accounts, Mauricio was left behind by the guide during the journey. A woman who was part of the group mentioned that he had been disoriented, vomiting, and left with minimal supplies, including an apple, Pedialyte, and a radio.
