Jacob Wallace, age 29, was last seen on January 17, 2014, in Houston, Texas. He was leaving a residence on Delwin Street between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m., and got into a tan or gold 2009 GMC Yukon, accompanied by a man named Adam Ortega. Wallace never returned, and Ortega disappeared shortly after. Ortega resurfaced later, having crossed into Mexico on January 19 and then returned to Texas that same day, but Wallace was not with him at any point during this time.
Wallace, who was known by the nickname "Peanut," had a significant criminal record, and both he and Ortega were reportedly involved in illegal drug activity. Wallace's family suspects foul play and believe his disappearance might be linked to his association with Ortega. They also note that Wallace was needed for a bone marrow transplant for his sister, adding urgency to the search efforts.
