Later that evening, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., she reportedly returned to the tanning salon, appearing distressed and wet from rain, stating that she had lost her wallet. The last potential sighting of Jennifer was between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. at a Don Patron Mexican Grill, also on North Atherton Street. She was supposed to meet her daughter and estranged husband later that day to receive a new credit card, but she never arrived for the meeting.
When Jennifer's mother was unable to get in touch with her, she was reported missing to the Ferguson Township Police on May 20, 2014.
