In the winter of 1961, a family gathered in Denver, Colorado, to mourn the loss of a loved one. William P. Ferguson, a 50-year-old man, had just attended his brother's funeral. The day was somber, and following the service, he was seen at a bar on Larimer Street, somewhere between 18th and 19th streets.
