John Pappas, 54, disappeared on August 18, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the night of his disappearance, Pappas told his wife he was meeting two men interested in purchasing his boat, which was moored at Lake Mead. He left for Jo-Jo's restaurant on Las Vegas Boulevard for the meeting, but he never returned home.
