Cindy Moore, a 28-year-old postal worker from Troy, Michigan, was last seen on May 23, 1985. After finishing her shift at 11:00 p.m., she planned to pick up her two-year-old son from her estranged husband's home but never arrived. The last confirmed sighting of her occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m., when a coworker saw her driving near 14 Mile Road and Interstate 75.
