Sargent Scott Micek, a 22-year-old man from South Bend, Indiana, went missing on May 4, 1989, after a night out with friends. He was last seen at the Bear's Den Tavern on Michigan Street, where he made two phone calls to his mother around 3:00 a.m., asking her to pick him up. His mother suggested he take a cab, and Sargent was never heard from again.
