The following day, according to her husband, the couple had an argument, after which Maria stormed off and was never seen again. Her husband and children returned to West Covina on June 28, 1990, without her.
Despite investigations, Maria has remained missing, and no conclusive evidence has surfaced regarding her whereabouts. She is described as 5'4" tall, weighing around 140 pounds, with brown hair.
