On May 23, 1991, 35-year-old Robert Gerald Vanzant, known to his loved ones as Bobby, disappeared from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was last seen at a friend's residence at approximately 5:00 p.m. At the time of his disappearance, Robert was described as a white male, standing between 5'3" and 5'5" and weighing between 120 and 135 pounds. He had long brown hair that reached the middle of his back, green eyes, and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown lace-up boots and was known to wear glasses. Robert was last seen leaving the home with another man, Larry Charles Easley, in a blue 1990 Pontiac Grand Am. They were reportedly traveling to Guthrie, Oklahoma, though it is unconfirmed if they ever reached their destination. Robert's own vehicle, a maroon Dodge van, was left behind at the residence where he was last seen. While Easley was seen in the Oklahoma City area after Robert's disappearance, he seemingly vanished before authorities could formally question him regarding Robert's whereabouts. It is unclear if Easley was ever located and interviewed in connection with the case.
