On a cold February evening in 1996, 38-year-old Donald Wayne Ellenburg vanished from a remote roadside in Oscoda County, Michigan, leaving behind a few mysterious clues and a case that would remain unsolved for decades. He was last seen on the night of February 14th, standing beside his red and white 1991 Geo Tracker, which had become stuck in the snow on Kneeland Road, near Youngs Road in Elmer Township, approximately six and a half miles northwest of Mio.
