Helena "Ann" Negrete, a 45-year-old woman, was last seen on June 14, 1997, in Gwinn, Michigan. Originally from the area, she had recently returned to Michigan from California after the death of her husband to be closer to her family. Helena was an avid walker and was last spotted walking down the driveway at a relative's residence on County Road 456 at approximately 5:30 p.m. that day.
