Melinda "Mindy" Mele, a 42-year-old woman, was last seen in Vero Beach, Florida, on or around August 1, 1998. At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her ex-husband, and her family has expressed concerns that he might have been involved or had knowledge of her fate. However, he passed away in 2000, leaving the case without further clarity.
