Michael Allen Wagar, aged 46, went missing on July 4, 2003, while boating on Lake Pend Oreille near Bayview, Idaho. On that day, Wagar was operating a 15-foot aluminum boat during foul weather conditions when it overturned. Witnesses last saw him struggling in the water before he disappeared. Despite extensive search efforts in the lake, his body was never recovered, leading authorities to presume he drowned. However, no definitive conclusion has been reached since his remains were never found.
