Brian David Cook, a 37-year-old man from Oceana, West Virginia, was last seen on July 28, 2011, in the Lynco area. He had been dropped off at a post office after a trip to Boone County, reportedly carrying $16,000 in cash, an inheritance from his late father. Cook, an ex-Marine and certified welder, left behind a young daughter and has not been heard from since.
