In the summer of 2012, a sense of unease settled over a community in Stamford, Connecticut, following the disappearance of 40-year-old Pedro Hernandez-Perez. A friend of his was the last person known to have seen him on the Fourth of July. When days turned into weeks with no word from Hernandez-Perez, concern grew, and he was officially reported as a missing person. At the time he was last seen, he was described as being 5'6' tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown hair. ...
