Lorena Contreras, a 2-year-old girl, was reported missing on January 22, 2014, from Los Angeles, California. She and an older child, Ashley Dominguez, were abducted by their non-custodial mother. This case was classified as a family abduction, where the children were unlawfully taken by a parent without custody rights.
