Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP27639) and 6 other sources
Rodrick Cassel, a 24-year-old U.S. Marine, was last seen on August 29, 2014, in Houston, Texas. On the night of his disappearance, he left home to meet with new friends and was not heard from again. He was reportedly driving a black 2007 Toyota Camry, which has not been located. At the time, Rodrick was wearing a blue and orange Adidas shirt, brown jeans, and matching blue Adidas shoes.

Despite his vehicle being equipped with a LoJack tracking system, no signals were detected, raising concerns that the vehicle might be in a location preventing it from transmitting, such as underwater. His family has been actively involved in the search, especially since Rodrick had served in Afghanistan and was a decorated Marine, making his disappearance even more distressing. Multiple efforts have been made to locate him, but his case remains unsolved. The Houston Police Department continues to seek information from the public to help bring closure to his family.
