Manuel Gomez Castaneda, a 39-year-old man, was last seen on October 5, 2014. He had left Mexico City the day before and was reportedly planning to reach Houston, Texas. After meeting with individuals in Camargo, his journey took him to Reynosa, where he made a phone call—the last confirmed contact with anyone—on the same day he disappeared. Gomez Castaneda was attempting to cross the border and reach the U.S., but he has been missing ever since.
