Carol Tormey, age 81, was last seen on July 21, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia, she disappeared from her home, prompting authorities to issue a Silver Alert. Tormey was believed to be driving her husband's black 2018 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck when she vanished. After more than a week of searching, her body and vehicle were discovered by fishermen in a canal in Miramar, Florida, on July 31, 2024.
