On April 20, 2015, David Alan Cohen, a 42-year-old man from West Virginia, was nearing the end of a drive to visit a friend in Lacey Township, New Jersey. Though familiar with the area, he decided to stop for the night, checking into the Red Lion Motel on Route 206 in Southampton.
